ABOUT ME

My name is Madison Way, and I currently reside in the small, yet beautiful town of Charlevoix, MI. I enjoy reading, baking, kayaking with friends and family and discovering new music. I am constantly looking for new activities to take part in and to learn new things. I like to think of myself as an innovative thinker who appreciates creativity in all things. I grew up admiring my father, a local builder in Charlevoix, MI. After watching him hand draw plan after plan, and elevation after elevation, I couldn't help but to be intrigued by his work. As I got older I was infatuated with interior design magazines, and I constantly wanted to see blue prints and plans of my dad's newest projects. After careful research, I chose to attend Adrian College, located in Adrian, MI to further my fascination with Interior Design. Adrian College has a prestigious design program in which professors are hands on and give ample feedback throughout the entire design project. Throughout my career, my design abilities were pushed to their limits, and I was continually pushing myself to not only better my design skills, but my final productions as well. Over four years, I was introduced to multiple different spaces such as an office facility, a healthcare facility, a mixed-used development facility, a retail store, and multiple residential designs. Through hours of hard work and dedication, I was able to produce a portfolio that I am truly proud of. I only hope to continue to learn more about interior design to continue bettering myself as a designer.
